about
The Coalition is a month by month documentary style collaboration between members from different rock/metal/blues etc backgrounds coming together to write a new song to be released for Free download.
The Coalition Part 1 features members from Stoker , FILTH ,Kingdom , The Sleepers and Taxi Violence that all came together and collaborated/wrote a song from scratch, did a pre production session and finally recorded the song within a couple of days. The song was then mixed and mastered at Kill City and will be available for FREE download on 13 April 2015. The first Coalition call themselves 'The Flying Sex Snakes'.
The aim of The Coalition SERIES in association with Kill City Pictures and The Image Engineer, is to capture the process of writing and recording a song on film from it's inception to it's end, giving artists from different musical backgrounds within the rock/ blues/ metal/ hardcore/ grunge / punk / psych genre's to get out of their comfort zones and write with different artists to eventually come up with something unique that you would not otherwise have heard from their own respected bands.
The NEXT Coalition might feature two different bands coming together or once again just a handful of different musicians coming together to write a brand new song.
